It's my 100th post! Quite a feat for a girl who was pretty much computer illiterate when she started this blog.

I'd like to take this time to thank my boyfriend/editor/sometimes photographer for all his help. Couldn't have done it without you!

I had no idea what a loyal following (loyal being an understatement) Rebecca Minkoff had until perusing the purse forum and scanning hundreds of comments from her devoted fans. Minkoff enthusiasts (most having more than just one) come together to chat about everything Rebecca Minkoff. I highly recommend checking it out if you are considering purchasing one of her bags -- it's got all the info you could want, and then some.

I previewed her spring collection today, so for all you RM lovers, this one is for you! Pictured are of my favorites.

While planning her wedding, Rebecca Minkoff got a 

firsthand look at how limited stylish bridal accessories can be. 

(Not having planned a wedding, I'll trust her on this.) 

Taking matters into her own hands, she designed custom-made 

bags for each of her bridesmaids, thus the "I Do" collection was born. 

Her designs are a marriage of elegance and edgy, 

a winning combination for any handbag.

Classic creme and black are available, 

or (even cooler) you can provide your own fabric. 

Something to match their dresses perhaps? 

Prices range from $190-$225, with a minimum of four bags. 

A little steep for the average gal, but if you have the funds, 

your bridesmaids will thank you!

VERA WANG

Take a looky at what Vera Wang's got going on for fall 2009. 

Early on during fashion week I spoke to designer Rebecca Minkoff about fall trends and what she thought would be fashion's direction. She predicted we would see a lot of embellishment. Which I thought was odd considering the economy and that she didn't have one spec of embellishment in her collection. But as the days went on I saw that she was right. Embellishment was everywhere!! 

And if the garment themselves weren't bedazzled, they were accessorized with big eye-catching jewelry--like at Vera Wang.

Vera paired the above gems with solid colors and simple separates. 

I love it when jewelry takes center stage!
